Quebec Contradances, Quadrilles and Step Dance
A night of participatory dancing open to beginners (all dances taught) and a display of Quebecois step dance - all to the very best live music!
Pierre Chartrand (calling and step dance), Andre Brunet (fiddle), Martine Billette (piano and step dance)
Pierre has been a leading Quebecois step dancer, choreographer and caller for decades and now performs internationally with his group Danse Cadence. Andre Brunet, one of Quebec's very best fiddlers, is a member of the iconic La Bottine Souriante and the multi-dimensional Celtic Fiddle Festival. Martine Billette's talents speak volumes as she performs on piano and as a highly-skilled step dancer.
