 me)\n\nTONY DeMARCO - one of the best Sligo-style Irish fiddler players ali
 ve!  He plays weekly at O'Reilly's on Thursdays and the 11th St. Bar on Sun
 days\n\nNIALL O'LEARY\, dance calling and step dance - an Irish national ch
 ampion step dancer and director of his own Irish dance school in the city\,
  Niall will ead us in traditional Irish daces such as the Walls of Limerick
 \, the Siege of Ennis\, and the Haymakers Jig.  Not to be missed!\n\n\nThe 
 NYC Barn Dance is a monthly traditional dance party that combines what some
  of the best traditional live bands the City and elsewhere have to offer wi
 th circle\, square and contra dances that anyone can do - like the Virginia
  Reel.  No partner or experience is necessary!  All dances are taught!  Whi
 le the lively and energetic crowd contains young and old\, typically three-
 quarters are under the age of forty\, and most have minimal square and cont
 ra dance experience.  However\, the dance caller chooses dances that vary i
 n style\, configuration and tempo so it will be an interesting night for ev
 en the most experienced dancers!\n\nThe location is the Hungarian House\, a
  dance hall on the Upper East Side that is a combination of New Hampshire T
 own Hall\, Vermont Barn and Eastern European Manor Dining Hall.  Everyone l
 oves the space\, and once inside\, it is hard to believe that you are still
  in Manhattan!  The hall itself makes it worth a visit!\n\nAlways danced to
  live music\, the NYC Barn Dance is a dance party\, not a dance class or a 
 dance performance!!!\n\nThe cost ($15 general admission/ $13 seniors and st
 udents with ID) covers overhead (sound system\, hall rental\, musician fees
 )\, as this is a non-profit event.  This is a public service event to let t
 hose who enjoy dancing or traditional music enjoy both at the same time - a
 s it was meant to be!\n\nAs a added bonus\, the event features a bar and ca
 fe where beer\, wine\, a light dinner and dessert can be purchased.  Water 
 is free of charge\, of course.  We want you to be able to keep dancing!!!\n
