Quebec Contradances, Quadrilles and Step Dance
A night of participatory dancing open to beginners (all dances taught) and a display of Quebecois step dance - all to the very best live music!

Pierre Chartrand (calling and step dance), Andre Brunet (fiddle), Martine Billette (piano and step dance)
Pierre has been a leading Quebecois step dancer, choreographer and caller for decades and now performs internationally with his group Danse Cadence. Andre Brunet, one of Quebec's very best fiddlers, is a member of the iconic La Bottine Souriante and the multi-dimensional Celtic Fiddle Festival. Martine Billette's talents speak volumes as she performs on piano and as a highly-skilled step dancer.

Cape Breton Music, Contradances and Cape Breton Sets
A night of participatory dancing open to beginners (all dances taught) and a featured display of Cape Breton step dance - all to the very best live music!

Andrea Beaton (fiddle), Troy MacGillivray (piano), Christine Morrison (step dance)

Andrea Beaton is the youngest member of a long family tradition of Cape Breton's best musicians on fiddle and piano. Apart from brilliant solo recordings, her playing was part of a recent Smithsonian recording documenting her family's rich musical talents. Troy MacGillvray, an award winning solo musician, plays fiddle, bass and piano and will play the latter to accompany Andrea this night. Christine Morrison of the Boston area is an American descendant of Cape Bretoners who brings step dance to its highest level, performing with the likes of Natalie MacMaster as well as performing at numerous festivals and concerts and teaching this style of dancing full-time.

Irish Ceili and Set Dancing
A night of participatory dancing open to beginners (all dances taught) and a wonderful show of Irish step dance - all to the very best live music!

Jerry O'Sullivan (Irish small pipes), Niall O'Leary (calling and step dance)
Jerry O'Sullivan has been widely hailed as America's premier uilleann piper. His reputation for technical and melodic mastery of the instrument is unsurpassed in the United States Jerry is also widely recorded on the tin whistle, the low whistle, the Highland bagpipes, and the Scottish smallpipes, having appeared on more than 90 albums. Niall O'Leary is a former World Champion Irish step dancer, leads an internationally-recognized Irish dance school and competitve team in NYC, and teaches Irish ceili and set dancing regularly at the many events in which he takes part around the city.

Southern Mountain Dancing
A night of participatory dancing open to beginners (all dances taught) and a fabulous display of clogging - all to the very best live music!

Phil Jamison (calling and step dance) & Rhys Jones (fiddle)
Phil has been a caller, step dancer, musician and scholar for decades and no one knows how to run an evening of high-energy southern running-squares like him. He has danced and called internationally and was a dancer in danced in and consultant for the Hollywood film Songcatcher. Rhys has been playing for dances since age ten and learned from the legendary greats of West Virginia during his youth there. He has been a highly sought-after fiddler all around the country for major festivals and music camps.
