Puddletown Squares is a gay and lesbian Modern Western Square Dance (MWSD) club open to everyone. We sponsor classes, dances, and tape-dancing for the MWSD Mainstream through the Advanced programs and have been a vibrant part of Seattle's gay community for over 25 years.
This Square Dancing is nothing like the square dancing most people remember from grade school! With Puddletown it is upbeat and energetic, fun for all ages and a great alternative to the bars. It is a highly social activity, one of the few where gay men, lesbians, straight people, and all the other groups that are part of the gay and lesbian community all join hands (literally) to dance.
Ready to learn to square dance? We have lessons starting in September. Watch the calendar for more details.

This is the place and time to try out the Gay version of Square Dance! EVERYONE is welcome. Some of our members will demonstrate just how fun a square can be, and then our ace caller will teach you some of the basic moves. Classes will start up in early September. Check back for updates, but be sure and save this date!
